Corsair's Innovative 2-in-1 Keyboard: A Game Changer for Gamers and Streamers (2026)

Imagine a keyboard that's not just for typing, but a command center for your entire digital life. That's the promise of Corsair's Galleon 100 SD, a device that boldly combines a high-end keyboard with the functionality of an Elgato Stream Deck+. It's a clever concept, but does it deliver? Let's dive in.

Corsair, like many tech giants, operates like a collection of specialized businesses under one roof. They own brands like Elgato, Scuf, and Origin PC, each with its own focus in the gaming and PC peripheral world. But at CES 2026, they unveiled a product that blurred the lines: the Galleon 100 SD. This quickly became one of the most anticipated gadgets of the show.

This keyboard is essentially a marriage between a top-tier Corsair keyboard (think the Vanguard 96) and the Elgato Stream Deck+, creating a hybrid that aims to be the best of both worlds.

On the left side, you'll find a premium keyboard featuring Corsair's MLX Pulse mechanical switches. On the right, it's almost a complete Elgato Stream Deck+, minus the touchscreen (though it still has a screen for displaying key functions).

The keyboard itself is designed for pro-level gaming, with satisfyingly clicky keys that remain relatively quiet thanks to six layers of sound-dampening foam. While the foam initially made me concerned about potential fatigue, my brief time with the keyboard proved that it just felt pretty satisfying. The switches are also hot-swappable, so you can easily swap them out if you decide they're not your cup of tea.

And this is the part most people miss... the Stream Deck integration. It offers a wealth of customization options. It can function as a simple numpad for spreadsheets or provide shortcuts for Discord and your streaming software. But that's just the beginning. You can program the keys with shortcuts for video editing software like Final Cut Pro or Logic Pro, or create macros for RTS games. The key screens change based on the profile you've loaded, so you're not left guessing what each button does.

Like the regular Stream Deck, you can create your own custom profiles and widgets. Easily cycle through them using the dial.

It's the most functional and useful all-in-one keyboard I've ever seen for gamers, streamers, and professional editors. It's incredibly customizable and designed to be intuitive, assuming the demos translate to real-world use.

But here's where it gets controversial... the price. At US$350 (around AU$600 after factoring in GST), it's a significant investment. Comparing it to the individual prices of the Corsair Vanguard Pro 96 keyboard ($349) and a Stream Deck+ ($299), you can start to see how that price tag is justified.

According to Corsair's website, the keyboard is expected to start shipping by the end of the month.

Other exciting products on display included the Corsair Sabre V2 Pro CD Wireless Gaming Mouse, a carbon fiber version of last year's Sabre V2 Pro. Weighing in at a mere 55g, it's incredibly light, with 8000Hz hyper-polling and 120 hours of battery life. There was also a fancy mouse mat designed for esports pros.

My review unit of the Corsair Galleon 100 SD has just arrived, so keep an eye out for my full thoughts soon.

Alice Clarke attended CES 2026 as a guest of Lego and Intel.

What do you think? Is the Galleon 100 SD the ultimate productivity tool, or is the price too steep? Let me know your thoughts in the comments below!
