Over the past four years, the program has seen consistent growth and success, with two Liberty League championships, an undefeated regular season, and a memorable Cortaca Jug victory. Toerper's coaching prowess is undeniable, with a remarkable overall winning percentage of 35-10 (.778) and numerous individual accolades for his players.

His guidance helped develop student-athletes into well-rounded individuals, with seven Liberty League Players of the Year and six All-America honors to show for it. One notable success story is Derek Slywka, a 2023 graduate who signed a free agent contract with the Indianapolis Colts and is now playing in the Canadian Football League.
In his final season, the Bombers repeated as Liberty League champions and secured a postseason berth with an impressive 9-3 record. The team's defense, a hallmark of Toerper's tenure, never allowed more than 20 points per game in a season, ranking among the top 25 nationally five times.
