Around 2 a.m., officers responded to a call in the Kipling Avenue and Highway 7 area. Upon arrival, they quickly located a vehicle believed to be connected to the incident. Peter Cheung explained to CP24 that the suspect tried to break the containment, but the officers successfully prevented the escape.
