Yakuza 3 Remastered Delisted: How to Get It Before It's Gone! (Xbox & PC) (2026)

Prepare yourselves, Yakuza fans, because a classic is about to become a bit harder to get your hands on! RGG Studio has announced that Yakuza 3 Remastered will be removed from the Xbox store. But don't despair completely – there's a catch!

With the upcoming release of Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties, a remake packed with fresh content, the original Yakuza 3 Remastered will be delisted from digital storefronts. This means that if you want to experience the original version, you'll need to act fast.

Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties is scheduled to launch on February 12, 2026. This also means that the current version of the action-adventure game, Yakuza 3 Remastered, will disappear from the digital shelves. However, there's still a way to get it, but it comes with a hefty price tag.

In a recent social media post, RGG Studio explained the situation. While the standalone version of Yakuza 3 Remastered will be delisted, those eager to play it and earn those Yakuza 3 Remastered achievements can still do so. How? By purchasing the Yakuza Complete Series bundle, which is priced at a cool $129.99 / £114.99 / €129.99.

The post stated, "The release of 'Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties' is now less than one month away. Everyone at the studio has poured their hearts into creating this title, and we are truly looking forward to the day everybody can finally play it. We place great importance on staying faithful to our creative direction, and we hope you will enjoy the completely new experiences we have envisioned for 'Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties.'"

The studio also added, "Those who already own 'Yakuza 3 Remastered' will still be able to continue playing it. For those new to the series who wish to experience the original version, it will be available with the purchase of the 'Yakuza Complete Series' bundle."

But here's where it gets controversial... RGG Studio didn't specify an exact delisting date, nor did they mention anything about the Windows version of Yakuza 3 Remastered. While it's not explicitly stated, it's highly probable that the PC version will also be removed from the Microsoft Store.

The Yakuza 3 Remastered (Windows) version is not included in the Yakuza Complete Series bundle. So, if you're a PC player and want this version, it's a good idea to grab it sooner rather than later.

While it's disappointing that there won't be a way to buy Yakuza 3 Remastered on its own (aside from the physical Limited Run release), the Yakuza Complete Series bundle offers good value for the price, especially if you're a newcomer to the series.

What do you think about this decision? Will you be purchasing Yakuza 3 Remastered before it's delisted from the Xbox store? Do you think the bundle is a fair alternative, or should the original game remain available separately? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below!
